Some history...
In the beginning, Stéphane April and two partners accepted a challenge: to make the manufactured home industry in quebec a model of innovation. Batitech was officially launched in 2006. The first model home was built at Riviere-du-Loup and the first Batitech home was delivered to the customer. Our participation in numerous home shows spread our name and reputation, and Batitech grew from 5 to 20 employees.
Growth goes on because the following year, Batitech opens a new sales office in Rimouski to meet customer's demand in Est-du-Québec. The Bâticlick models are in great demand and the delivery of a first Bâticlick Swiss model leaves the factory by container on its way to Alberta.
Batitech solves a problem in Alberta. They offer an installation in just 3 or 4 week, which is just perfect to answer the huge demand and the labor shortage in this province.
In 2010, Batitech book by boat three residential development projects in the northern villages of Puvirnituq and Kuujjuaq Kangirsuk. These developments help Batitech to become the leader in modular construction with its high standards and its innovative construction methods specific to the northern climate. Batitech also made several residential projects that are exported in containers by sea in different regions of northern France.
In 2013, Batitech manufactured the new chalet model EXP designed by SÉPAQ. 38 chalets will be delivered and installed in several national parks and reserves in Quebec. Since, Batitech continues its expansion and aims to new heights by becoming a business partner with Dynaco Cooperative Group. A new sales office opens in the complex BMR-Kioti Dynaco in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures.
